What I Do Now
By day, I’m a Content Operations Lead for a multi-awarded performance marketing company (not an agency, there’s a distinction) managing a high-volume content operation that produces SEO-optimized work at scale through AI-augmented workflows. It’s a lean operation by design. Systems do the heavy lifting. That’s the whole point.
Outside of that, I’m here — building this site, documenting what I know, and laying the groundwork for the next chapter.
What This Site Is About
This isn’t a portfolio. It’s not a resume dressed up as a blog. It’s a record — built in public, updated as I go.
RenzieBaluyutOnline.com exists because I spent thirty years accumulating knowledge across media, marketing, digital, and AI — and most of it lives in my head. That changes here. Every post, every piece, every opinion published on this site is me getting that knowledge out of my head and into something useful.
It’s also a lab. I’m a content creator by trade. This is where I practice, experiment, and figure out what works — on my own turf, on my own terms.

How I Got Here
I started in radio in 1994. Spent fifteen years across four FM radio stations in Metro Manila — on-air talent, audio production, events, sales, and eventually marketing communications. Radio taught me storytelling, audience awareness, and how to make something out of nothing on a deadline. Those skills never left.
In 2007 I made the shift into digital. SEO writing, WordPress, content development — first as a freelancer, then as part of growing teams. I led an SEO content team for an Australia-based e-commerce brand. I managed web development projects for US real estate clients. I produced concerts. I built three businesses simultaneously in Tagaytay — a specialty cake shop, a bridal car rental, and a country guesthouse. I ran a distributed team of fifteen-plus people across multiple time zones. I got into AI workflow development before most organizations knew they needed it.
In between all of that — I got married, raised a son, fought a serious illness with surgeries on both ends of it, worked through COVID, worked through a volcanic eruption, and kept going.
That’s not a brag. That’s just the timeline.
The through line across all of it — every role, every pivot, every reinvention — has always been marketing, content, and communication. That’s what I keep coming back to. That’s what I’m building on now.
Where I’m Headed
The pivot is already in motion.
The plan is to move further into content creation as a craft — not just as a job function, but as a deliberate practice. More solopreneurship. More AI workflow development and automation. Building systems that let one person do the work of many, without burning out in the process.
This site is part of that plan. So is the writing. So is the documentation of everything I’m learning in real time about AI, content, and what it actually means to stay competitive in 2026 as a one-person operation.
I’m not starting over. I’m building forward — on thirty years of foundation that isn’t going anywhere.
