Recovering at home means I have a more active hand at choosing healthier food.
So even while I’m craving for pancit, instead of using the traditional noodles, I used shirataki noodles– sauteed in garlic with just a bit of soy sauce and oyster sauce.
Then we mixed in regular chop suey– with chicken liver, quail eggs, and lots of vegetables (green pepper, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, and snap beans).
Low-carb, healthy, and delicious!
