A few months back, I came really close to dying. Because I lost so much blood in so short a span of time, I was passed out on the bed face down, unable to move, fleeting in and out of consciousness.
It was my wife’s decisiveness that got me to PGH just in time to get a fresh infusion of blood. Of course, even though we now know that we’re dealing with a tumor, I’m only here today still fighting the good fight because of her quick thinking.
This week, we celebrated our 8th church wedding anniversary, folks.
The last couple of years have been particularly challenging– not just because of the pandemic, but also because we had to deal with a home break-in, betrayal from within the family, living out of suitcases, eruptions from a nearby volcano, and now, cancer.
But hey– whatever doesn’t break you can only make you stronger. And I’d like to think that through everything we’ve been through, our relationship is now better than ever.
