Oh, it’s so good to be home.
A bit of rain going on. And finally, a breath of fresh air after getting cooped up for a week in a hospital.
(A hospital? What is it? It’s a big building with lots of sick people inside. But that’s not important right now.)
Speaking of important stuff– we’re about to go on lockdown soon. Everybody prepare for it the best way you can. Me? I’m using this much-needed time to recover.
For those who’ve been asking:
It was a 6- to 7-hour operation. I was out unconscious the entire time.
Yes, they were able to take out all the cancerous parts. But we’re not completely out of the woods yet.
I’ve been sutured, stitched up, and stapled. But I’m well enough to walk around a little bit. Just no laughing, coughing or sneezing for now.
I can eat regular food now– just smaller, more frequent meals to get my gut used to normal consumption once more.
I should be back up and about in perhaps, another week or two.
I’m just glad to be able to nurse my wounds here at home.
